India’s Amazon has rolled out an exclusive delivery service, fresh express delivery and Amazon Prime members can get a package from the Indian company within 24 hours.
The company says the delivery service is available from Monday.
Amazon says it is the first major Indian online retailer to offer such a service.
The company is also planning to roll out a direct delivery service for its Prime subscribers by March.
Prime members can order items from Amazon for Rs 5,999.50 (USD $5,945).
The Prime members’ packages are priced at Rs 9,999, Rs 16,999 and Rs 32,999 (USD 5,944, USD 6,865 and USD 8,569).
Prime members will also get unlimited digital access to Amazon Prime.
Amazon’s India unit, Amazon India, has been working to build a new network of delivery hubs in the country.
The move comes after Prime customers in India have been facing delays on Prime delivery.
It has also been reported that Prime customers have been faced with a high cost of doing business with Amazon due to the delay.
