The problem with Anchor is that there’s a lot of confusion surrounding its installation.
We talked to a number of experts to find out more about what you need to do to get the most out of your Anchor, and the answers vary widely.1.
Install Anchor in an Ubuntu Linux Distro2.

Run Anchor from your web browserWhen installing Anchor on a Ubuntu Linux distro, you’ll need to first install the latest version of the Ubuntu software.
To do that, head over to the Ubuntu Software Center.
You’ll see a list of the distros that support the software.
If you don’t see it, you may have to install it yourself.
If not, you can install it from the Software Center, which will automatically download it for you.
Once that’s done, head into the Software center and install Anchor.
It’ll ask you to enter your email address.
After entering it, click Install.
You’ll be asked to confirm the install, and you’ll be prompted to enter the path to the Anchor install folder.
Once you do that and click OK, you should see an Anchors folder.
Now you can go into the Anchors install folder and click the AnchOR folder icon to launch the installation.
