Apple Express has agreed to provide Apple Express, an Australian carrier, with its internet express shipments to the Philippine market, the company said in a statement.
Apple Express will have access to Apple’s network, it added.
The carrier will have an exclusive agreement with Apple to deliver internet express packages to the mainland, where it has its offices and distribution centres.
The agreement will be in place until 31 December 2019, when it will be terminated, the carrier said.
The carrier will also be able to operate Apple Express as a subsidiary in the Philippines.
Apple Express will be allowed to operate its own logistics operations and will have exclusive agreements with local carriers to distribute its products in the country.
The US tech giant has a dominant presence in the Philippine territory, which is home to more than 1.5 million Apple employees.
